Loads of things happened in the world of horror this week; let's take a look!

It seems that this past week got a lot of things happening when it comes to new horror flicks so I figured it was time to dive right in and take a look at what you may or may not know! let's get right down to it.

  • "The Human Centipede III" has it's first poster [as seen below] revealed and a full cast list!

Like most horror movie fans, I'm into the obscure horror genre and The Human Centipede films are no exception to this rule. From the first installment [which I found was more psychological] to the gritty sequel [which showed audiences EVERYTHING you would have expected from the first movie] Now we have a third, on the way [which is also the finale to the series] The cast which was revealed includes Eric Roberts, Robert LaSardo, Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister, Bree Olson, Tom Six, Dieter Laser [who was the Doctor from the first], and Laurence R. Harvey [who played 'Martin' in the sequel]. This grand finale is considered 100% politically incorrect and has been rumored to take place in a prison with a certain 100+ centipede! holy. fuck.

  • "When Animals Dream" is shaping up to be pretty bad ass!
when animals dream [AFM 13] New Look At Let the Right One In Inspired When Animals Dream

As many people know, Let The Right One In is one of my favorite foreign films ever. When Animals Dream seems to be a film that was inspired by Let The Right One In [just replace vampires with werewolves]. Personally, I hope it's equally as good, as the film is about a young girl who is hunted down by those living in her town when it is revealed she is a werewolf.. Filming for When Animals Dream started last month It’s a coming-of-age horror film set in a secluded fishing village of Denmark about a young girl falling in love and discovering she is a werewolf through her mother. At the same time as she gets hunted down by the villagers..

  • The 'best' version of the "Oldboy" remake is probably NOT hitting theaters

The plotline revolving around Oldboy is often a confusing one; you either have seen the film and know the story, or you've heard of it, but know nothing about what happens. It seems that the remake version is 104 minutes long. However, it wasn’t always this length – Spike Lee’s initial version of the film was roughly 3 hours. [I know, right? wow..] According to The LA Times, Josh Brolin [who stars in the remake] claims he preferred Spike Lee’s three hour version of the film, which he claimed was “quieter” and more “character-centric” than the version that will released later this month. The Times then [reportedly] asked Brolin what he thought about the end result of the film to which he replied, “I do have opinions, but it’s better to bite my tongue.

  • "Army Of Darkness 2"  had what felt like a billion updates; hopefully I can clear this all up [from what we know so far..]

As a hardcore fan of the original Evil Dead trilogy, this is getting out of hand pretty fucking fast.. Here’s what we do know; Bruce Campbell just told Erin Darling [watch the video at the link] over this past weekend [the 2nd and 3rd of November]that Army Of Darkness 2 isn’t exactly happening. To use Bruce's exact words: “It’s all internet BS. There’s no reality whatsoever. These random comments slip out of my mouth or Sam Raimi’s mouth, next thing you know, we’re making a sequel.” In my opinion, I'm kind of on the fence. Although I'd love a sequel to an excellent film, [especially with Bruce and Raimi working together again!] I feel that maybe they should leave the film alone [without a sequel]. I agree with Bruce though, he should only play Ash if Sam Raimi directing the film.. those two are the only ones who could pull it off. [personal opinion talking here, feel free to disagree!]
