Point #1- New Evil Dead Remake Trailer [screenshot above];
"Well, holy fuck." those are quite literally the words that fell from my mouth when seeing this new trailer. [which can be found here] It's obviously NSFW because it's the red-band version of the trailer; meaning if there's blood [and there is A LOT of it], they're gonna show it. I was fairly skeptical about this movie at first; being a fan of the original [and being someone who doesn't like remakes too often- some exceptions] However, after seeing the first trailer, I noticed elements from the original that this remake is incorporating into it. [Not like "A Nightmare On Elm Street" 's remake which changed the story and character names..ugh] This being said, I'm still upset at the idea that the character Ash isn't in this version; but maybe this is a good thing- leaving Ash to the original. What also has my attention for this remake, is knowing that unlike most horror movies now a days, this one has ZERO CGI in it. for more screenshots from the trailer, visit BloodyDisgusting's post on the movie here

Point #2- Carrie remake has been pushed to October 2013;
Wait, I thought the teaser poster said it was supposed to be SPRING 2013.. yeah, "supposed to be". If you go through my old posts, I actually mentioned that I was excited for this remake, because the cast seems fantastic. [not to mention, it feels like a good time for a "Carrie" remake and Hollywood would have gotten to it eventually] sigh, and to make matters more depressing- this remake hasn't even got a full trailer out yet.. meaning we have to deal with a minute long teaser trailer and little to no photos about this remake for the next few months.. or at least until an actual trailer comes out; which hopefully will be soon. It better be worth the wait.

Point #3- SPOILER ALERT! The Amazing Spider-Man dies in newest issue [#700];
I know, I know.. I wasn't exactly impressed either. However, Marvel has taken a risk and killed of Spider-Man in not one, but two of their "Marvel-Universes". First, Peter Parker died in Ultimate Spider-Man [which happens to be my favorite retelling of the Web Swinger.] & now they kill him off in Amazing Spider-Man?! What in the actual fuck? Now hold on.. Let's not just jump at the idea that Spidey is dead for good.. I mean, let's think of other famous comic characters who have died multiple times, just to come back in a later issue. Batman died a few times [yet came back] and even Superman.. wait, I don't think he counts. He's a fucking alien. Of course he'll come back by a black version of his suit.. sigh, I don't get it either. Back to the original point, who's to say he died for good? Although Miles Morales is the new Ultimate Spider-Man, Peter Parker still showed up [although earlier claimed dead] in an issue to help him defeat a few baddies.. What do you think? Is Spider-Man really dead, or is Marvel trying to kill us all with feelings of sorrow?
